Maravu Plantation Resort is located on Taveuni and overlooks the Somosomo Strait, with easy access to some of Fiji’s best scuba sites, this boutique plantation resort is sure to capture you. Its 15 bures are set amid the lush 90-acre resort to ensure privacy. Each bure features a king-size bed covered by a white mosquito net canopy, ensuite bathroom, mini-bar, and air-conditioning. Some have private outside showers and others, an open-air private Jacuzzi. All have private verandahs and a hammock for complete relaxation. The Treehouse is Maravu’s newest bure, situated amongst an ancient Rain Tree, and features a Jacuzzi spa pool. Guided Nature Walks
We offer several guided tours and nature walks where you can explore quaint plantation towns and rainforest trails such as Vidawa Forest Walk with its spectacular bird life. Discover hidden waterfalls where you can swim in the natural water basins such as Bouma or Kulanawai. Jungle trails lead to the volcano Lake Tagimaucia, while our 4WD Landcruiser will take you up to the 1200 metres high Des Voeux Peak.
